LitCraftStories grew out of a career spent in the classroom rather than the newsroom. Twenty-five years of teaching communication, language, and literature made one thing clear: the best conversations about ideas happen slowly, not in headlines. This publication is an attempt to bring that same patience — the kind a seminar room affords, not a comment section — to a wider readership.

AparaJitha is the pen name of Sribhavani Sangoju, an Assistant Professor of English in the Department of Humanities & Sciences at TRR College of Technology, Meerpet. NET and SET qualified, she has spent over twenty-five years teaching communication skills, soft skills, and language studies. Her scholarship centers on American literature — she has presented papers on Whitman, Emerson, and Thoreau, with a particular focus on Transcendentalism — alongside a parallel interest in contemporary literature and its interdisciplinary intersections with technology and the modern sciences.

Every piece we publish is measured against a simple standard: does it add something a reader couldn’t have gotten from a faster, shallower version of the same story? We favor depth over breadth, a considered sentence over a clever one, and a two-line pause for the reader to think over a rushed conclusion.
