The tempest of the flickering zeal deal with nothing but knowledge and hardly any wisdom. That often is the reality of the reels. This new space is more dynamic and demographic than the actual geopolitical. The psychological geopolitic has taken steep twists and turns along past few years’ time. It had me pondering ; they have been simply too good. An amateur like iam , a millennial, it may take you by the storm ..the storm of its charm! all these performers are amazing and they know how to put forth a visual treat moreso, here in India. All wisdom tapped and curated too.
This drift towards the new metageopolitical feels nothing but almost like the destiny of the history of the mankind. The phases of stubborn norms , the hard traditions, only meant to be broken lose in a world celebrating the carpedium now more and more. Womankind for instance, rocket paced the feminist movement.
The lustre and the limelight have a shifted meanings in themselves from glamour to pure attraction. This attraction seems to have been drawn from the realistic mindsets , natural, original and the simple. The crucial plight of the limelight or glamour leads its linguistic lag almost to a notoriety whereby no peripeteia becomes possible except a que sera sera of an expression.
The inevitable destiny of more and more conceptualisations , and all these dynamic proceedings are the result of nothing but the quest, the thirst of the man , for knowledge. Knowledge in the form of wisdom, knowledge in the form of power, of money or of the existence. Then, as ozymandias would’ve it, nothing can pass the tests of the times for longer .
Knowingly or unknowingly, the gen z seems to have grasped this very ozymandiac concept deep seated in their mindsets. Life is lived in remnants whether Gen Z, alpha, beta or any.. they are no special and soon would have to stoop and kneel to this reality, to the great unmatched Shelley ‘s icon.
When my older self set pondering about them.. it has led to quite praise them, congratulate them for the much appreciated , much accredited accomplishment of theirs at the Jantar Mantar.
It has sure been the result of a very long period of a series of a phenomenon, around a quarter of a century. The period that saw the centenary shift from a decameron of the 20th and that of the 21st centuries. While it also was a peak of its notoriety as borne out it is a rebuilding phenomena. There had been an enhancement of normal and ideals owing to a good school education, or the education system itself. A growing economy not just sometimes enhances ones fiscals but also the other psychological and ethical resources.
Moreover, it’s always the smallest of these things the little things and relentless efforts that go into big achievements of the nation.
The natural course of darwinian improvement, in qualities or temperaments and reign by a better sustaining elements. What might have appeared just as something wierd would eventually take forms of a new normalization and this has practical instances manifested in contemporary times. The pacing times of change and transformation leads same object to honour that once had been dishonored meanly.
Fondest TV memories of my life
My earliest of the sweet memories of the rather idiot box is otherwise pleasant. The then was the period of 80s and 90s which began with my journey of watching the hindi movies over large projectors in park and such great patriotic episodes of Bharat ek khoj and chunni rang de. .others.. that seeded an enormous love for the nation I belonged to. . right in my 8-9 years of age. Next I remember the animated versions of the spider – man and the street-hawk, the much favorite heroes who set out to solve a new case each episode. And of course who could not be impressed by the He-man and The Masters of the Universe and many of the Indian heroes as the Shaktimaan and the two greatest epics
Coupled with great stage shows of the then times.. people would perform greatly authentically sing and dance whole -heartedly, there would also be other social activities much healthier and more productive.
B. R Chopra’s Mahabharath is a greatest gift not just to India or Indian regions but I would say, to the wholesome civilization of the man’s progress. This show that streamed Sunday mornings, would be a legendary piece of the showtime as compared to any other, in the whole world in my opinion. Yet I do agree to have got impressed strongly by a Japanese soap too named, Oshin.
Then came an era of great private albums as well as few greatest films from the Bollywood as well as the South. The onset of modernity was not just cool and steady but also a whole – hearted venture into life, during those days in late Nineties.
Towards ripening of the next century, the screen times also saw a disruption andisintegration. Liberalisation, privatisation inhibited the qualities and an altogether shift applies in the views and viewerships even till date
Against this kind of backdrop, my fondest memories stand with the epic channels travelogues, the National Geographic Channel and some of the greatest documentaries telecasted then.
Kapoors kitchen, Rocky Singh and Mayur Sharma’s kitchen tours throughout India, world depicting all kinds of cuisines and recipes was a great watch for some years in first decade.
Amongst watching all this, gaining lot of info and knowledge was sure a best part of my life, not to mention the great learning via my then favourite movies of all eras.
